Taylor Holds Two
Folks around Michigan may not know Joshua Taylor just yet, but they should. The 5'10, 190-lb running back from South Haven is making noise, recently earning his first two offers. "I have an offer from Central Michigan and one from Eastern Michigan," he said. "Eastern was first." That first offer was meaningful for Taylor. "I feel good. I feel really good with the offers. Eastern is a good school and a good football program." The Chippewas offered Taylor after seeing him at the Michigan State camp, and as of now, they are the school that stands out for him. "CMU for me, that'd be the best fit with the coaching style. I like their staff and it's a good school and a good football team too." Taylor showed at several events this summer that he could play either side of the ball, but says both in-state schools offered him as a running back. While he is excited about the offers, he is not expecting to jump on either one. "I'm trying to wait in the fall to see what other schools offer me. Just wait until after football season's over with." Those "other schools" who may offer include Toledo, and Michigan State, who he impressed at their aforementioned camp. "Michigan State, they're looking at me right now, but right now, my grades are a little down. They really like me. They said I just need to get my grades up."
